Thanks, David. - Yeah, I think you're right when you talk of months. Just watched Hamburg Journal and they said something about a new interior for the Eclipse, though B&V won't reveal any details...

Hi Jens, with regard to the "Eclipse" I'll keep my eyes open and my fingers crossed for you - but I guess she will stay some months.
For information about the ships at Blohm&Voss you can check: http://www.blohmvoss.com/de/corporate/content/schiffe-kultur/ships-work
however, as you can see they're not always up to date.

I didn't even know she was at Hamburg until yesterday, David, and as to why she's here I only learnt that when I had a look at your photos:-)

It's been quite a while since I last used the ferry to roam the harbor. Otherwise I'd have never known she was here.

Don't mention the Eclipse! She's the reason why I was out yesterday in the first place. I was waiting for her to arrive in the afternoon but then she stopped off Brunsbüttel. Looks like she finally arrived last night:-(

Would have liked to catch her sailing for once. If you happen to know when she's due to leave I'd appreciate it if you could let me know (though I'm sure it will be darkest night then):-))

Last but not least: Thank you for the compliment!:-)

Cheers,
Jens

Still in Hamburg?!
As far as I know she was announced to leave on 8.02. Obviously they had to alter their shedule...

Apart from that a nice clear shot Jens, although the steel-grey sky seems to invest all its dullness to disturb;-)

Btw, the "Eclipse" is now back in Hamburg, joining at Blohm&Voss 10. Hope I can catch her!

Regards, David
