It looks from this chart and photos that three are now in the water.

IHS have CESI GLADSTONE for the first one, and no names yet for the others. But your CESI QINGDAO must be the second as seen in April.

Hi Seadevil, thanks for your comment. My location was based on the fact that the Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard is on the Huangpu River. We were departing from Shanhgai on the Huangpu River when I took the photo from the starboard side of our ship. Perhaps the ship had been moved from the original construction site?

Regards,
Bob

Hello Bob, this is not even near the Huangpu river. This Vsl was build in Hudong SY in Changxing Dao, along the river Yangtze.

On second thoughts, if your other photo is not too bad but the only example on site, it should be accepted anyway - so please go ahead and post it.

Hi Bob, you can upload it if you wish but I can't guarantee it will be accepted if it's not sharp. It's not so much the name I'm interested in anyway, more the build stage. If this one is more complete than the other, then this must be the first one.

Thanks Phil. I have a photo of the other CESI ship but am unable to read the name and have been unable to sharpen the image enough. Should I upload the photo? I thought that it might be rejected.

Regards,
Bob

CESI = China Energy Shipping Investment Ltd., who have 6 identical LNG carriers on order from Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard. Now, is this the first or second one, Bob?
