I was also thinking about the ultimate future of these huge ships... Of course, by the time they pay themselves (or not!), become obsolete or just inefficient the IMO might completely ban the "beaching" as a way to dismantle ships - but I still imagine how the rusty Triple Es or MSC Oscars or even bigger vessels, deflagged to, say, Vanuatu, end up on the beaches of Chittagong or Alang...

Very nice catch and historic, as many of your photos! Then it will be interesting to watch the photos from "Ships under construction" category in 20+...years, when these ships will be transferred to "Scrapyard ship" category )))
