Wonder if it's any coincidence that in your photo they are working No 4 hold, where the explosions have taken place, and rain started? Maybe the hatch didn't get closed in time to prevent cargo getting wet?

Tomas, many thanks for posting this photo of CHESHIRE. The ship both arrived at and sailed from Liverpool at around 23.00 hrs so could not be photographed in the River Mersey. She had sailed for Antwerp before proceeding to Herøya/Porsgrunn to load her next cargo.
