Description:
Arrived in La Coruna 08/10/2022 from Bremerhaven and departed 23/10/2022 for Lisbon.
Originally named Dana.
Dana was built in 1937 a Danish research vessel and severed that purpose until 1980.
During WW2 she was kept in Copenhagen harbour without vital engine components thus she was never seized by the Germans.
Dana mainly did research work in the Baltic & the North sea but in 1966 she ventured to the Sargasso Sea & West Indies to do work connected with the European eel.
During 1980 she was succeeded by Dana IV.
Dana then worked in the North Sea with work connected to the crews who were employed on the gas & oil installations.
Finally sold to a charter company, was completely refurbished and rigged as a 3-masted schooner under the name of Gulden Leeuw
