Thanks, Dave.

The light was perfect on that particular day and the air was crisp, ideal conditions for ship photography.

Cheers,

Marc

I was even able to read the two comments in francais. I can read much, much better than I can comphrehend the spoken word.

It will be interesting to see what winter brings us. The NOAA hydrologists at Ann Arbor, Mich say that the largest amount of evaporation from Lake Superior occurs during the winter when the lake has little ice cover and they say that is one of the major reasons, along with below normal precipitation, that the upper lakes have been so low.

At any rate, the only joy I get out of winter is looking at your fantastic snow and ice photos of ships in the St. Lawrence.

Keep up the good work, Dave, as far as being able to read my French language comments.
I sure hope to be able to capitalize on some of the better opportunities as far as winter ship photography is concerned. This is when I generally produce my best results.

Merci Gilbert.

Salutations,

Marc
